Nothing tastes better than locally sourced, seasonal fruit which is why we’re excited to be filling your office fruit boxes with a range of delicious winter fruit such as apples, pears, oranges, mandarins and more.

The new season has commenced with juicy Royal Gala, Pink Lady, Granny Smith, Red Delicious and Sundowner apples filling your office fruit boxes. Apples are rich in vitamins and antioxidants that help boost mood and productivity, and loaded with potassium to help regulate the nervous system. Navel Oranges are at their best this season, with one large orange providing up to 100% of your daily recommended vitamin C needs. Navel Oranges are rich in fibre and folate which helps boost immunity and heart health. This orange variety also sharpens eyesight and is beneficial for the repair and growth of body tissue.

Imperial, Afourer, Hickson, and Murcott mandarins will be on rotation in your office fruit boxes over the coming months. Aside from being sweet and zingy, mandarins also work wonders to prevent infections and colds, making them the perfect winter fruit to add to your diet this season.

Good things come in pears, and we’re happy to report that Beurre Bosc and Packham pear varieties continue to be available over winter. Rich in dietary fibre and folate, try topping your breakfast porridge or toast with thinly sliced pear and honey – we promise you won’t be disappointed. As the cooler weather hits our Southern crops, Queensland will also start providing us with delicious strawberries across the year. Strawberries are rich in vitamin C, magnesium and antioxidants that help boost immunity in adults, and are available to add as a preference item to your fruit order.
